The rate of evaluable patients was lower for single-source computed tomography (CT) without systematic pre-treatment to lower heart rate as compared with pretreatment to achieve a target heart rate ≤60 beats/min. Similarly, the lowest sensitivity, specificity, and positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV) was found for the patients studied by single-source CT without systematic pretreatment to control heart rate, but these differences were not always significant (Table 2). DS = dual-source; HRC = heart rate control; SS = single source; w = with; w/o = without.
